Hekate, Soul of the World.

Here is a piece created to honour Hekate. In Her trimorphic form, surrounding the four-sided pillar, She is all-encompassing.

There would be far too many things to say about Hekate. For the Hermetic tradition, She is the Soul of the World; for the Greeks, She is associated with the sea, the earth, and the sky. She is Liminal Space itself, the goddess of witchcraft and sorcery, and a powerful presence frequently invoked throughout the PGM.

I designed this piece as a wearable altar and effigy, a small sacred object meant to be carried close to the body. The pendant is designed to rotate freely around the pillar, allowing each side to take its place in turn. No face is meant to prevail over another; each is part of the whole, just as Hekate Herself encompasses multiple aspects without being reduced to any single one.

The piece is therefore not meant to represent a fixed image of the goddess, but rather to evoke Her presence through movement, multiplicity, and the perpetual crossing of thresholds.
